Guam Green Growth Beautification Recap: Piti

The Guam Green Growth Conservation Corps was in the wonderful village of Piti during this last beautification project that saw the Piti Mayor’s Office team and many volunteers help to clean up the Cabras beachside.

The group collected over 18 large trash bags full of garbage, several large objects and diverted over 600 aluminum cans from the landfill.

Every week, the Corps and community volunteers take it to the streets, beaches and roadsides of a different Guam village in hopes of helping to bring awareness to the horrible effects of illegal dumping and littering.
