Walking for inclusion, one mile at a time! 💙

The inaugural Walk Different event brought the community together for a massive 16-hour trek across the island—from Andersen Air Force Base down to Merizo and Cocos Island—to support autism awareness. Co-organized by Anthony Hana Cruz and Off The Spectrum Guam, the journey was inspired by Cruz’s personal journey as a father and his mission to build a more empathetic, understanding community.

The Guam Green Growth Circular Economy Makerspace and Innovation Hub joined the Guam Visitors Bureau MegaFam Tour Expo at LeoPalace Resort Guam to share how sustainability, innovation and community can be part of the Guam visitor experience.

The G3 team connected with international travel professionals and showcased the work happening right here in our community—from transforming waste into new products to hands-on education, creative reuse and building Guam’s circular economy.

🌱 Sustainable tourism gives visitors an opportunity to do more than experience our beautiful island—it allows them to learn about, connect with and contribute to the community and environment that make Guam special.

Over 130 local residents have now graduated from the Guam Green Growth (G3) Conservation Corps, taking huge steps toward exciting green careers and sustainability education! 💚📚

A massive congratulations to the 6th G3 Conservation Corps cohort AND the inaugural G3 Youth Conservation Corps—the very first youth conservation corps of its kind on Guam! 🥳👏
